Is All Saints Catholic School accredited?

Yes, All Saints Catholic School is fully accredited through the Ohio Catholic School Accrediting Association (OCSAA) and curriculum is based on the Diocesan Courses of Study and the Common Core Curriculum.  All Saints teachers are fully licensed by the State of Ohio and participate in on-going professional development. Our faculty is dedicated, caring, and committed to the ministry of Catholic education and the development of lifelong learners. Our teachers give their personal best and encourage each child’s personal best…every day.

 

What is the school’s curriculum?

Reading, math, religion, language arts, social studies, science, art, music, advanced technology and physical education are taugh to our students from Preschool - Grade 8. 

 

What extracurricular activities are offered?

All Saints offers a variety of extracurricular activities. Some of the extracurricular activities include student government, Math Club, Art Club, Quiz Bowl, and scouts. Our students participate in a number of CYO athletic programs including cross country, volleyball, soccer, basketball, track, football, wrestling and softball.

 

Do you offer advanced classes?

Yes, we offer accelerated classes in math and language arts in our middle school

 

Can my child visit for a day to get an idea of what All Saints Catholic School is like?

Certainly! We encourage children to be a “Falcon for a Day.” Just call us at 419-661-2070 to arrange this visit or a personal tour.

 

What options do you offer for preschool?

All Saints Catholic School’s preschool program is open to 3, 4 and 5 year old children. Children must be 3 years of age by August 1 and must be toilet-trained before beginning school. We offer full and half day, 2, 3 or 5 day options for preschool children.

Full Day Preschool hours are 7:50 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Half Day Preschool hours are 7:50 a.m. to 11 a.m.

 

How old does my child have to be to attend kindergarten?

A child must be five years old by August 1. And must be screened by us.

 

What is the school’s daily schedule?

Classes for grades Preschool - eighth grade begin at 7:50 a.m. and dismissal is at 2:30 p.m. Students may begin to arrive at 7:30 a.m.

 

Do you offer an Extended Day Program?

Yes. All Saints Extended Day Program is operated as a service to the families who have students enrolled in our School. Students may use the program only on days when they are in attendance during the school day. Extended Day is available from 2:30-6:00 p.m. when school is in session.

 

Do you offer bus transportation?

Yes! Free bus transportation is available to Preschool through Grade 8 students in the Rossford and Perrysburg school districts (NO PS/PK transportation). Families who transport their children to All Saints from a school district that does not provide transportation here are eligible for transportation credit from their school system. 

 

Our family is not Catholic. Are we welcome to join All Saints Catholic School?

Absolutely. We welcome children of all faiths to All Saints.

 

What type of religious instruction is offered?

All Saints Catholic School provides daily formal religious instruction:  30 – 45 minutes
The religion curriculum is designed so that through consistent teaching:
     • Students experience a nurturing and loving Christian community,
     • Learn to serve and reach out to others in efforts toward peace and justice,
     • Come together in prayer and worship,
     • Know and understand scripture and the teachings of the Catholic Church.

 

Do students attend Mass?

Yes.  Weekly Mass for grades kindergarten through eighth grade is held on Friday at 8:15 a.m. We invite and encourage parents and other family members to join us each week.  

 

What about other religious instruction or preparation for receiving the sacraments?

Parents and teachers work in partnership with the parish catechists to prepare children to receive the sacraments of Reconciliation, Eucharist, and Confirmation.  Students in the second grade prepare for the sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist. During their eighth grade year, our students prepare for the sacrament of Confirmation.

 

What type of financial aid is available?

Scholarships that are available are the Northwest Ohio Scholarship Fund, EdChoice, EdChoice Expansion, Jon Peterson, and One Faith Many Blessings. The NWOS is income based and available for grades K-8.  EdChoice (K-8) and EdChoice Expansion (K-2 and expands a grade each year) are offered through the Ohio Department of Education. The JPS is available for students (K-8) with IEPs.  The OFMB is offered for K-8 parish families and staff.   Forms and/or additional information is available from the school office.

 

Are there other ways I can lower my tuition payment?

Yes.  The WTPSPA Script program is one of the advantageous opportunities available to parents in which they purchase gift cards from a large list of national and local retailers.  You earn money for your tuition with your ordinary family spending. This tuition assistance can be used for your child's education from grade school all the way through college.  Some parents are able to take off as much as $1,000 of their family's tuition.

 

Do you have payment plans for tuition?

Yes. To help you meet your educational expenses, All Saints is pleased to offer FACTS Monthly Tuition Payment Program as a convenient budget plan. FACTS is a tuition management plan that provides you with a low-cost option for budgeting tuition into monthly payments.

 

Are there other required fees?

All Saints Catholic School requires payment of a non–refundable registration fee for all students and a Supply Fee for (Preschool - Grade 8).  Registration fee is due at the time of registration.
